GTA 6 is the next chapter of the colossal Grand Theft Auto Series. The game has now been officially unveiled by Rockstar Games with the first official trailer, and it was expected to be released in fall 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S but announced to be released in May 2026 (as of 05/06/2025)

It has now been ten long years since Grand Theft Auto V was released, the longest we ever had to wait between Grand Theft Auto games. We are really excited about GTA 6, and we can’t wait to update you on everything about the upcoming GTA game.

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will be taking place in Vice City, with two main protagonists – a male named Jason, and for the first time in the series a female – named Lucia. The GTA 6 story is influenced by the Great Depression-era bank-robbing couple, Bonnie and Clyde.
