Similar to its role in GTA Vice City, the Oceanic can often be found parked in front of the Ocean View Hotel on Ocean Drive, sporting a yellow-white paint job. This detail is a nod to the real-life yellow-white Oldsmobile Super 88 parked outside the Avalon Hotel on Miami’s Ocean Drive.

The design of the Oceanic in GTA VI is inspired by classic American cars, including the 1955 Nash Ambassador Sedan, 1961 Dodge Dart, 1961 Dodge Polara, 1962 Dodge Custom 880, 1955 Oldsmobile 88, and the 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air, reflecting its vintage charm and cultural significance.
